This adaptable philodendron is also known as a Sweetheart plant due to the shape of its delicately-held leaves.

It's a fast climber and can be encouraged to clamber around a moss pole or left to drape languorously at its leisure. But beware, its creeping stems will reach for the light!

An easy-to-care-for variety with a rich green and abstract patterned jungle vibe.

Avoid placing next to radiators or draughty windows. Prune brown leaves or stems by cutting as close to the next stem (or the base of the plant) as possible.

Care tips

Water regularly during warmer months, allowing the soil to dry between each watering and be sure that the roots are never sitting in water for a long period of time.

Use some fertiliser during warmer months (little and often is best for consistent growth). Water less frequently during colder months when the plant's instinct is to slow down a little.
