A spectacular forest cactus with graphic, structural stems. Bold enough to be a statement specimen, those leaves cast a spectacular shadow in a sunny spot.

Their rare blooms will appear at night where they are pollinated by moths and bats in their natural habitat. They can be found growing naturally in the forks of tree branches, high-up in the canopy where they can bask in filtered sunshine and frequent rainfall.

These angular curiosities are perfect for a statement hanging planter.

Care tips

Water deeply and thoroughly allowing the excess to drain completely from the pot. Do allow the soil to dry a little between soaks: it is still a cactus after all.

Use some fertiliser during warmer months (little and often is best for consistent growth). Water less frequently during colder months.

While content in slight shade, it will really shine given higher levels of light.

A bright East or West aspect is ideal.
